For this months update I have come to a decision on a colour scheme for No 3, or rather, I couldn't decide, so have settled for Black! Well if it was good enough for Henry Ford......

So.....with a black painted body, I decided that the exhaust pipe would look better painted silver. I also painted the RoR emblem silver. The hand rails will probably get the same treatment.

On the chassis, I have fitted some wooden buffing blocks. These are currently unpainted, I am not sure whether to paint these black or leave them unpainted. They probably should have metal plates screwed to the face.

Things still to do

The radiator grill is made from a piece of expanded aluminium and is painted black. I have fixed this to a plywood former which is bolted to the back of the radiator opening.
